Email Setup in Netscape Tutorial

Step 1

Open Netscape.

Step 2

If you opened Netscape Mail, go to step 3. If you opened Netscape, click on Communicator from the menu and then select Messenger.

Step 3

From Netscape Mail, click on Edit from the main menu, and then select Preferences.

Step 4

In the Preferences window, on the left-hand side, is a menu,under Mail & Newsgroups select Identity.

Step 5

Fill out the information in the Identity menu.

Step 6

Return to Mail & Newsgroup and select Servers.

Step 7

For the incoming mail server type, mail.yourdomainname (your domain name includes .com, .net, or, .org, but does not include www.)

Step 8

For the outgoing mail server it will be your current Internet Service Provider's (ISP) outgoing mail server, which you can obtain from them.

Step 9

Click OK.
