File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
for Macintosh Tutorial

Step 1

To get an ftp client, go to download.com and download Fetch. This is an FTP client for Macintosh.

Step 2

Install Fetch on your computer.

Step 3

When finished with the installation, open the new program if it is not already opened.

Step 4

You will see a menu asking for information. In the Host field type www.yourdomainname (yourdomainname includes .com, .net, or .org.) The user and pass fields are the username and password that you set up with GKG. Leave the Dirc field blank. You will automatically be placed in the right directory on our servers.

Step 5

After connecting to the servers use the put and get commands.
