ICANN, the organization that accredits and regulates registrars has instituted a new funding structure. This new funding structure raises the fees that registrars, like GKG.NET must pay when a domain is registered. Under the new ICANN funding structure, registrars must pay 20 cents per domain name year.

GKG.NET has worked very hard to provide our domains at a tremendous price and with terrific customer service. However, in order to continue doing so must pass this fee onto our customers.
