How do I manage my parked domains?

To manage your parked domains, please visit our Account and Domain Management section and click on "Change Parking Configuration for your Domain(s)". You can then log in using the username and password that you created when you registered the domain to modify the parking configuration.

To upgrade your parking package, visit our Account and Domain Management section and click on "Change Parking Configuration for your Domain(s)". You can then log in using the username and password that you created when you registered the domain to upgrade to deluxe parking.

Back to top I forgot my username, how do I retrieve it?

To retrieve a username associated with your domain, go to our Account and Domain Management (Domain Tools) section and click on "Forgot your Username or Password?". Then click on "Forgot Username" and enter your domain name. Click the List Contacts button and the usernames will be listed on the screen for the four contacts.

To retrieve a password associated with your username, go to our Account and Domain Management section and click on "Account Login". Then click on "Forgot your Username or Password." Enter your username and click "Send password". The password will be sent to the email address associated with that username.

If you can no longer check this email address and you wish either the password or the email address to be changed by GKG, you must mail a notarized letter (on company letterhead, if applicable), signed by the contact listed in the GKG username with your request, along with a $15 administrative fee to:

Back to top How do I change the password associated with my GKG username?

To change the password associated with a GKG Username, please visit our Account and Domain Management section and log in using the username and password that you created when you registered the domain. If you successfully log into the account, you will see your domains that are associated with that username. If you do not successfully log in, you will be prompted to log in again, this means that you used either the wrong username or password (remember both are case and space sensitive). If you log in and do not see any domains, that means that you successfully logged into the account but that account does not have any domains associated with it (you should go to the Look Up GKG Username - link - and search for another username).

At the top of the page, you will see buttons representing all of the admin functions available. Select the Change GKG Password option and simply enter your current password, the new password and press continue. If you cannot remember you current password, simply follow the instructions above for retrieving your password.

Back to top The cloaking is not working properly for my parked domains. What is wrong?

First, check to make sure that you are not trying this in Netscape 4.7 or lower. The cloaking will not work in the older browsers. You should either remove the cloaking feature or upgrade your browser.

To remove the cloaking feature: go to www.gkg.net/domain/myaccount/ and log in with the username and password associated with the domain. Select the domain to modify, and click on " Configure" in the Extra Services box. Uncheck the box that says to "cloak" the URL forwarding.

If the page you are forwarding to contains JavaScript, it is very possible that the JavaScript is circumventing the cloaking functionality.

By selecting to park a domain with GKG, GKG provides DNS entries for your domain (this means GKG will answer for the domain name). GKG provides two parking packages during the registration process:

1) Deluxe Parking allows you to register a domain and the ability to administer some additional services such as:

• 100 URL Forwardings (cloaking available)
• 1 POP3 Email Account (with 10MB Quota)
• 100 Email Aliases
• Webmail also available (additional $9.99/year)

There is no training required. The administrative modules are so simple, it's just point, type and click.

2) Basic Parking includes:

• 1 Coming Soon Page -or-
• 1 URL Forwarding option (cloaking available)
• 5 Email Aliases
