Setting up Email in Outlook 2002 Tutorial
Step 1
You will need your email server settings to set up your email program. Please click here and enter your email address. Print or write down the information that is displayed for use during this walkthrough.
Step 2
Open Microsoft Outlook 2002.
Step 3
From the Tools menu, choose E-Mail Accounts.
Step 4
Select Add a new e-mail account.
Step 5
Click the Next button.
Step 6
Select POP3.
Step 7
Click the Next button.

In the Your Name field, type your name.
Step 9
In the E-mail Address field, type your full email address (e.g., johndoe@gkg.net).

In the Incoming mail server (POP3) field, type your Incoming mail server (POP) (as determined during step 1 of this walkthrough; if you have not followed this step, please click here ).

In the Outgoing Mail Server field, type in your SMTP (as determined in Step 1 of this walkthrough; if you have not followed this step, please click here ).

In the User Name field, type your user name.

In the Password field, type your email password.

Click the More Settings button.

Click on the Outgoing Server tab.

Check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.

Select Log on using.

In the User Name field, type your user name.

In the Password field, type your password.

Check the box next to Remember password.

Click the OK button.
