Setting up Eudora 5.x Email for Windows Tutorial
Step 1
You will need your email server settings to set up your email program. If you do not know your email settings contact us for support.
Step 2
Open Eudora.
Step 3
Click the Next button.
Step 4
Click the Create a brand new email account radio button in the Account Settings area.
Step 5
Click the Next button.
Step 6
In the Your Name field, type your full name.
Step 7
Click the Next button.
Step 8
In the Email Address field, type your entire email address (e.g., johndoe@gkg.net).

Click the Next button.
Step 10
In the Login Name field, type your account or user name.
Step 11
Click the Next button.
Step 12
In the Incoming Server field, type your Incoming mail server (POP) (as determined during Step 1 of this walkthrough; if you have not followed this step, please click here ).
Step 13
Select POP.
Step 14
Click the Next button.
Step 15
In the Outgoing Server field, type in your SMTP (as determined in Step 1 of this walkthrough; if you have not followed this step, please click here).
Step 16
Do NOT check the box next to Allow authentication.
Step 17
Click the Next button.
Step 18
Click the Finish button.
NOTE: When you first send an email, a window asking for your user name and password will appear. Type your email address and password, then click OK to continue.
