| How to add a Spam filter in Netscape for Macintosh |
- Open Netscape Messenger and click on the Edit menu.

Click on the Message Filters option.
- This will bring up the Message Filters dialog box. Click on the New button.
- This will open the Filter Rules dialog box.

Name the filter SPAM and make sure the drop down boxes say "subject" and "contains" and the input box says "*****SPAM*****".
- Then click on the New Folder button and Type in SPAM for the name and click the OK button.
- In the Filter Rules dialog box, click the OK button now and your side menu of folders should look like this:
You now have SPAM filters set up for your email account.
Note: Periodically check through the SPAM folder and delete the emails that are spam and keep the ones that are not.
